Only seven percent base their selection on the cost of insurance cost and/or current engine condition of the car and thirty percent base their selection solely on cost. So while they grab the eyes of our youth, fortunately a sports car just doesn’t fit a young drivers requirements.
While views vary as to the precise definition of a sports car, the majority of sports cars come with two doors, two seats and are designed for tremendous acceleration, speed, and of course, performance through design.
Their attractive looks are the initial bait which lures car drivers and enthusiasts, second to the performance.
Sports cars usually do not have much cargo space and are certainly not economical to drive.
Passenger space and fuel cost- are not on the mind of an individual who is in the showroom, sitting in the car. The feel of the seats, steering wheel and smell of the leather is all consuming…
The lure of a sports car is really all about prestige and style. Luxury sports cars as vehicles are a compelling force unto themselves. In today’s society they are the epitome of wealth and excitement in driving.
While many Sports Cars Fans are lured by appearance, others are attracted to the performance.
When you invest in a sports car you expect superior road handling, performance and handling, compared to any standard passenger vehicle. Sports cars will have a more firm and tightly tuned suspension with a more efficient “steering system,” improved aerodynamics and hydraulics, a high-performance-transmission, perfectly balanced performance tires and a superior power to weight ratio.
Sports cars simply fun vehicles to drive and that’s why they lures in so many drivers and collectors.
While a luxury car such as a Range Rover or a Lexus may also create the same sense of prestige and comfort, a true sports car like a BMW M5 or Astin Martin will give you an immeasurable feeling of speed, elegance and style..
